Our Mission
We believe that emotionally healthy families are the roots of a strong and resilient community. At Guided Roots, we are on a mission to prevent what breaks families, to heal the broken ones & to nurture healthy families. To fulfill this mission, we work towards bridging the gaps between mainstream service providers, family nurturing resources and the faith community.
Our approach is two-fold
Nurturing healthy relationships and healthy minds.
Preventing abuse within families.
Our goal is to facilitate collaboration among the various branches of government, community and faith-based organizations and together, develop culturally sensitive tools and avenues to effectively fight family violence and barriers to mental health in the Muslim community.
