Fabiha Nuzhat is a CPA, CA with undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from the University of Waterloo. She is a working professional with a background in audit and project management. She currently works in industry, focusing on accounting policy and risk assessment of governance structures and operational processes. Fabiha has a strong connection with her Muslim identity and believes in the responsibility of North American Muslims to build on the hard work and success of the previous generations to empower our community, provide necessary services, and further our quality of living. Guided Roots’ vision of implementing both preventative and corrective initiatives addressing family violence and mental health fits perfectly with this belief. She hopes to contribute her experience and skills to Guided Roots to achieve these goals and strengthen the Muslim community.
